If you wish to smoke cigarettes or cigars despite the associated health risks then that is your own personal choice. What you do not have the right to do is force other people to inhale the smoke from the tobacco products you choose to use, which is why their use in public places is strictly prohibited in many industrialized countries including the United States. Despite an awareness of the reasons behind these public restrictions a shocking number of parents who smoke still choose to light up in the presence of their children without regard for their health. This fact is astounding given that there is scientific research which proves that passive smoking can lead to numerous diseases and is the third leading cause of preventable death in children here in the United States.

Various Diseases And Ailments

Every time you light up a cigar or cigarette in the presence of someone else you are putting them at increased risk of cancer, Crohn's disease and respiratory diseases such as asthma or bronchitis. You are also making it more likely that the people who are passively smoking because of your tobacco product will develop cardiovascular ailments as well as increasing their chances of getting nose, throat and ear infections. Passive smoking is particularly dangerous for children who may not be aware of the dangers they face when they breathe in second hand smoke. Perhaps the most disturbing fact about passive smoking is that it increases the chance of a young child dying from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.

Unfortunately these warnings about passive smoking are not simply the hysterical paranoia of politically correct people who want to control the world and everything in it. The dangers of passive smoking are real and there is clinical research to prove them. Therefore if you are a smoker it would be erroneous on your behalf to dismiss the hazards of passive smoking and continue to smoke in the presence of your children, relatives or anybody else.

What You Can Do

If you are worried about harming the health of your loved ones through passive smoking then you have two options. The most sensible decision you can make is to stop smoking altogether. This would improve your health as well as that of those you love and would also put more cash in your pocket. If you are not yet ready to give up smoking then the least you can do is go into your back yard or another outdoor place when you smoke. If you really must have a cigarette then be responsible about it. The fashion industry is a huge force in modern culture, not only the haute couture high-end fashion shows but influencing the day to day look of the modern workforce. Whether this has been due to retailers not stocking conventionally lower selling product lines to clothing maker’s reluctance to design for a larger size is up for debate.

Either way, the tide seems to be changing. Specialist retailers are starting to spring up to cater for this increasingly large and undersupplied sector, plus size customers no longer have to settle for clothes where styling seems to be an afterthought.

Plus-size customers can still find it difficult to find clothes to suit them, so here are a few tips to keep mind:

Avoid clothes that are too tight

This may seem like an obvious point, but clothes from differing retailers may not always turn out to be the same size. I.e. it’s possible to find you are a size 19 with one retailer yet have to order clothes of a larger or smaller size from another retailer. One way to avoid disappointment is to use any available sizing guides, however sometimes you can’t substitute experience! Another tip is to keep a note of any sizing differences you encounter - it will help you next time you order.

Don’t assume black clothes will be best

One long standing mantra for larger size clothes was “black is slimming”. Although this can be true when used correctly it can draw attention to the overall size. Use of colour can help to balance and break-up the outline of larger sections of fabric. Furthermore, if you have a lighter complexion then large areas of black can make your skin look paler. Careful use of colour can be a better choice.

Avoid ‘shapeless’ clothes

Shapeless clothes were traditionally used to mask weight by avoiding the creation of a defined outline of the wearer. In some cases this can work, but in many situations this can actually work to the detriment of the wearer by giving a larger impression of size. More important is the quality and tailoring of the clothes, this will not only be more flattering but also make you feel more confident while wearing them – properly tailored clothes are always preferable to larger ‘shapeless’ garments that supposedly hide your size.

Stripes

Stripes can help to give the impression of being taller and carrying less weight. The eye is naturally lead along their length and helps to hide the size of their wearer. For this reason horizontal stripes are to be avoided, the slimming effect we are after doesn’t occur if the eye is being drawn across the body. Vertical stripes are perfect for this, their visual effect can be a useful tool in avoiding drawing attention to the wearers size.

Avoid Stretchy fabrics

Although we have already mentioned that shapeless clothes can not be the most flattering, the opposite can also be true. Stretchy clothes by their very nature follow the wearers figure and drawing attention to the user’s size. Heavier non-stretchy fabrics can really help here, they can hold their shape better and help sculpt the wearer.

So the times are changing, plus-size customers no longer have to settle for less. Retailers with vision are becoming aware of this previously untapped market, the amount of buying power the plus-size segment holds is impressive. A New York pastor says one of his congregants donated a winning lottery ticket worth $3 million to his church.Pastor Bertrand Crabbe of the True North Community Church in Port Jefferson says the donor, who asked to remain anonymous, donated the “Ba Da Bling” scratch-off ticket immediately after realizing he won. Crabb says the donor said: “This was why God put the ticket in his hands.”A state Lottery official says the independent Christian church will get a little over $100,000 a year through 2028. The amount could be higher if withheld taxes are refunded because of the church’s nonprofit status. Crabb says the 650-member church will give the first year’s proceeds to other charities. I know it is all a scam he is using the church to launder the money and attempt to get the 50% tax back, then the church will pay it to him and take some of the taxes it saved.

If your base station has it, try enabling "interference robustness." It will slow the speeds a little bit.... but will ensure a good connection.
